The manga Mayoi Neko Overrun! (迷い猫オーバーラン! Mayoi Neko Ōbāran!?, Stray Cat Overrun!) is a Japanese light novel series by Tomohiro Matsu, with illustrations by Peco. As of March 25, 2010, eight volumes have been published by Shueisha under their Super Dash Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Kentaro Yabuki started serialization in the shōnen manga magazine Jump Square on January 4, 2010. An anime adaptation started airing on April 6, 2010.[1] "Mayoi Neko" translates as "Stray Cats", referring the name of the cafe around which the story develops, and alluding to the orphans and other "stray" characters who collect there. It is also the name of a school club for helping people in the story.

Fumino Serizawa (芹沢 文乃 Serizawa Fumino?)
is one of the main heroines of the story, she is the childhood friend of Takumi, and has been with him ever since they were both in the orphanage. She has a habit of meaning entirely the opposite of what she usually says, a fact only Takumi seems to be aware of. It was revealed that Takumi was the unwitting inspiration for this habit. She works at the Stray Cats as a part-time job just so she could be with Takumi even after he was adopted by Otome.
